Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 7, 2026
1. Introduction
Pawllen ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Pawllen mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.
By using Pawllen, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect the information you provide, such as your email address and display name. If you sign in through a third-party provider (e.g., Google or Apple), we receive basic profile information from that provider as permitted by your account settings.
Allergy & Symptom Data
The App allows you to log symptoms (e.g., sneezing, congestion, itchy eyes), severity levels, mood, and other allergy-related details. This data is provided voluntarily by you and is used to power your personalized allergy score, predictions, and analytics.
Location Data
With your permission, we access your device's location to provide local allergen levels (e.g., pollen counts), weather-based predictions, and location-specific allergy insights. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings, though this may limit certain features.
Usage Data
We may collect general usage information such as app interactions, device type, and operating system version to help us improve the App's performance and user experience.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalize your allergy score, symptom tracking, predictions, and analytics
- To deliver smart notifications such as high-risk day alerts and personalized tips
- To use your location for local allergen and weather data
- To improve the App's features and performance
- To communicate with you about your account or the App
4. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or allergy data to third parties. Your data is yours.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices. The information we store is limited to what is necessary to provide the App's features and does not include sensitive medical records or confidential health information. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Data Deletion
You have the right to delete your data at any time. The App provides an in-app option to delete your account and all associated data. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our systems and cannot be recovered.
7. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services (e.g., authentication providers, cloud infrastructure) to operate. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We only share the minimum information necessary for these services to function.
8. No Medical Advice
Pawllen is an informational tool only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. The allergy scores, predictions, and insights are generated from user-reported data and environmental information and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.
9. Children's Privacy
Pawllen does not have an age restriction. However, if a child is using the App, we recommend parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information beyond what is described in this policy. If you believe a child has provided us with information that concerns you, please contact us so we can address it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
